For National American Beer Day, we here at Restaurant Insider want to know one thing and one thing only. What’s your favorite American beer?

Agree with #SamuelAdams. It’s a national treasure.
Give me a Gansett any day!
Downeast Cider is my favorite!
American Blonde at The Cahaba Brewery in Bham, AL
Hard to choose with all the good stuff being made nowadays. If I had to go with one that I’d expect to be pretty much anywhere and I could drink with pretty much anything, I’d say Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
I’m torn between two, but have to say Bell’s Two Hearted Ale takes the cake for me.
Such a tough choice with all of the amazing craft breweries sprouting up, but #BrooklynLager on tap is my go-to. Barely edging out #SierraNevada.
Miller High Life! (It’s the Champagne of beers, folks.)

I fluctuate, but lately I’ve been really enjoying Lone Pine.
While I do agree with Scott (as always) on Brooklyn Lager, my heart belongs to anything Shipyard.
I love Wailua Wheat from Kona Brewing Company, although I can never find it any more here on the mainland. (So sad, I need my liquid aloha!) Closer to home though, Allagash White is my favorite.
Coors Light, the World’s Most Refreshing Beer, is the second best-selling beer and my favorite too.
