“I always joke that I was born in the restaurant industry. My father had a restaurant in downtown Providence in the late ’70s, and my mother was the salad-maker there.

The moment I knew I wanted to have my own shop was after I had kids. I’d managed restaurants for 15 years, working 90 hours a week. I wasn’t a dad, and I said, ‘I need to do something that’s going to change my life.’ It’s almost 4 years later. I’ve got 2 locations, and yeah, doing a great business. The biggest challenge I have currently is trying to juggle both locations, and make sure they’re both running smoothly.”
